The Heartland Fly Fishing Festival returns to the Boone County 4H Fairgrounds – Jan. 15-16, 2022. Doors open 9:00 AM Saturday, 10:am Sunday.

The Festival is hosted by Project Healing Waters Fly Fishing and focuses on fly fishing and the techniques and tools that allow anyone to pursue the sport.

This year’s Festival features new speakers, great demonstrations and the latest on fly fishing equipment and destinations.

Silent auctions on Saturday – flies, fine outdoor art, fly gear and select items. All Silent Auction items benefit Project Healing Waters Fly Fishing.

Admission $10 a day or $15 for a two-day pass. Veterans and active duty military with valid ID are free. Programs differ daily. 

Profits from the event goes to benefit Project Healing Waters Fly Fishing, Inc., dedicated to the physical and emotional rehabilitation of disabled active military service personnel and disabled veterans through fly fishing and associated activities including education and outings.
